Rick and Michelle's intimate garden nuptials were the perfect start to the fall wedding season in Seattle. With a gorgeous venue - Shooting Star Event Gardens in Maple Valley, WA - carefully hand crafted details and an airy tent reception, this beautiful wedding had all kinds of rustic charm.
Michelle and her Dad had a lovely first look, followed by Rick and Michelle's first look, which was equally endearing! Rick even did a little spin for Michelle to show off his sharp navy suit. The connection these two have is so genuine, it was difficult to take a bad picture of them, especially on this special day!
We managed to get all the portraits done pre-ceremony, and thank goodness we did, because after 53 days of no rain (which is practically unheard of in WA), we got some afternoon and evening showers. Someone once told me that rain on your wedding day is good luck, which I believe whole-heartedly (it rained on my wedding day as well). With everyone safely under the tent, dinner was served and the reception events commenced! Highlights were heartfelt toasts, and an almost a capella version of No Diggity that got everyone on the dance floor!
Congrats Rick and Michelle!
