Christine Thornton | Entwined Weddings Storyteller

Entwined Weddings is not just another wedding photography company, Entwined is my life's work.

Based in the PNW since 2016, and Alberta, Canada since 2009, for the past 9 years I've traveled far and wide for every beautiful, unique wedding that I've photographed.

I won't bore you with the details about my formal education or my equipment (though, if that's your jam, here are the details), because what I really want to tell you is why I do what I do. To me weddings are an art - not just visually, but emotionally. Your photographer is your partner in telling your love story.

Entwined Weddings has been a featured wedding photographer both online and in print

Entwined Weddings Experience: Kind words from clients

Pine River Ranch Leavenworth WA Wedding | Nate and Rachel

“We are so happy with all of the photos. You guys did an amazing job capturing everything about our wedding day. Thank you so much for your help and everything you have done. And the USB drive is awesome and really was touching."

Seattle Destination Wedding | Cameron and Jaclyn

Christine was amazing leading up to and on our big day! She ensured everyone was attentive and organized for photos. She was so full of positive energy and willing to help out in anyway she could. We love the pictures!

Parsons Garden Seattle Intimate Wedding | Kari and Ricky

" I love them so much! Thank you, I'm so happy. You did such an amazing job, I never thought we could look so good. We just love every single one of them, I have no idea how I'm going to choose which to print. Again, thank you so much for everything!"

Seattle Destination Wedding | Derrick and Kassandra

“Christine is remarkably down to earth and friendly. She made my husband and I feel so at ease, resulting in stunning images. I would, and have recommended Christine to everyone I know - and we have received endless compliments about her.”

Nanaimo Barn Wedding | Paul and Rachel

“Christine never made us feel rushed but yet took photos in such a timely fashion. The images were edited so well that she was able to make the natural surroundings look even more beautiful than on the day (if that was even possible). Christine was there through the whole process of making sure they arrived safely and that we were satisfied. She was a TOTAL blessing and we wouldn't hire anyone else if we could do it over again.”

Frequently Asked Questions | Entwined Weddings Client Experience

How would you describe your photography style?
My style is a mixture of what I see and feel, and what you see and feel on your wedding day. Part photojournalism, and part lifestyle portrait. I find the beauty in my surroundings and capture it, putting together images of details and relationships to record the experience of your wedding.

Do you pose people for portraits?
Yes, I do provide direction, but never force the unnatural. The details and the connection are all about you. I work with your natural chemistry to make you feel comfortable and look great.

I feel awkward in front of the camera, can you help?
Of course. I have a very natural, laid back working style to help you feel like you're just hanging out with a friend, yet I can wrangle a large group of extended family and will help you with managing whatever arises. You'll be smiling and laughing (most likely at me) in no time!

Do I get all of the photos you take?
All galleries include each image that meets my professional standard. What you receive is a finished product. Not 100% of images taken, but 100% of the best images. Personal printing rights are included with your wedding package.

I don't want my images to be displayed publicly - is that something you can do?
Yes. You may request to have a fully private gallery and that your wedding not be displayed in my portfolio and other marketing materials, but, because my business is dependent on showing my most recent work to potential and future clients, an additional $1000 fee will be added to your package cost to compensate for the opportunity to use that work to represent my services.

Do you work with a shot list/photo requests?
Yes, in fact, I send out a photo request document to my clients a few months before the wedding so they can let me know the details, images, and family groups that they want captured on their big day! It also helps me to address possible scheduling conflicts and any other family info I may need to know before the wedding day so that I can give my clients the best possible service. I do however ask that clients refrain from requesting broad stylistic and artistic concepts, as they may not be consistent with my work or working style.
