Hi, I'm Christine.
There is something special about capturing the chemistry and emotion of a wedding day that makes me feel pure joy, and I have dedicated my career to the art of capturing those moments. This is what I love about my job - making beautiful images with genuine emotion that will become an heirloom for years and generations to come.
I want to tell your story - the details, the moments, the theme, the love and emotion of your wedding day, in beautiful handcrafted images.
When I'm not eating a second slice of cake at a wedding reception, you might find me in a field of horses, or wrapped in a knit blanket at my work desk, editing beautiful weddings and family portraits. I also love to go for a walk in the forest with my boston terrier, Wilson, or explore a new hiking trail.
Do you pose people for portraits?
Yes, I do provide direction. The details and the connection are all about you. I work with your natural chemistry to make you feel comfortable and look great.
I feel awkward in front of the camera, can you help?
Of course. I tell the best bad jokes. I have a very natural, laid back working style to help you feel like you're just hanging out with a friend, yet I can wrangle a large group of extended family with ease (and more bad jokes). You'll be smiling and laughing (most likely at me) in no time!
Do I get all of the photos you take?
All galleries include each image that meets my professional standard. What you receive is a finished product. Not 100% of images taken, but 100% of the best images. Personal printing rights are included with your wedding package.
I don't want my images to be displayed publicly - is that something you can do?
Yes. You may request to have a fully private gallery and that your wedding not be displayed in my portfolio and other marketing materials, but, because my business is dependent on showing my most recent work to potential and future clients, an additional $1000 fee will be added to your package cost to compensate for the opportunity to use that work to represent my services.
Do you work with a shot list/photo requests?
Yes, in fact, I send out a photo request document to my clients a few months before the wedding so they can let me know the details, images, and family groups that they want captured on their big day! It also helps me to address possible scheduling conflicts and any other family info I may need to know before the wedding day so that I can give my clients the best possible service. I do however ask that clients refrain from requesting broad stylistic and artistic concepts, as they may not be consistent with my work or working style.
Every wedding, every day, every venue and every person is a blank canvas. My style is a mixture of what I see and feel, and what you see and feel on your wedding day. Part photojournalism, and part glam. I find the beauty in my surroundings and capture it.
